Wedding video editor

Hi,

We're looking to hire flat rate wedding video editors to handle videos edits on a per order basis.

Our company deals with primarily wedding clientele, we shoot and edit 200 - 300 weddings per year. (Closer to 350 weddings this year and that's why we're looking for new editors.)

Below are a list of skills and requirements we look for in our editors:

Operational & logistical requirements:

• Ability to download large video files (between 50 & 300 GB for each wedding)

• Ability to upload finished video product (full length video average 7-20 GB, highlight film 1-3 GB)

• Ability to re-upload Adobe Premier project file, with any & all additional files produced while editing the project, ensuring file management, so any other editor on the team may open and adjust the video when necessary.

• Provide an organized and well formatted Project file, for ease of other editors opening and adjusting

• Motivation and drive to adhere to the deadline originally agreed to for each job assigned


Editing requirements:

• Ability to organize video files by event (Wedding Ceremony, Reception, Formals, etc..)

• Ability to Synchronize video footage from multiple cameras and audio tracks, both from automated software like Plural eyes and a visual synchronization from individual frames

• Removal of out of focus or shaky frames, while keeping constant coverage of scene (via changing camera angle or adding B-roll footage to scene)

• Basic color grading and color correction when necessary

• Denoising the footage when necessary

• Transitory scene place between key moments (ceremony to reception, best man speech to maid of honor speech, etc...)

• Digital stabilization of footage when necessary
