ASB General Contractor, LLC / Shreveport Home Repair has been in business since 2012. We have construction, renovation, and property maintenance services. We currently do the bulk of our work for clients of our sister company Mayco Real Estate Services. We have grown tremendously in the last few years. We need a rockstar Maintenance Coordinator rep to help us continue that growth!
Our Maintenance Coordinator will primarily be communicating with tenants and customers to schedule times and set expectations for repair work and coordinating with the maintenance technicians to keep them informed and on task. Some administrative tasks will be required as well.
Your primary daily responsibilities would include:
1. Send a daily report through
2. Utilize our scripted responses to get jobs scheduled, rescheduled, etc.
3. Respond appropriately to other questions based on our policies and procedures.
4. Schedule and confirm time blocks, set expectations for approximate arrival times.
5. Communicate with the technicians via cloud based walkie talkie platform.
6. Contact property owners to get approvals for larger jobs that require estimate and approval.
7. Light bookkeeping to bill the completed work via quickbooks.
We're looking for someone that can grow with us as you get comfortable and master your primary role. Other possible future responsibilities may include:
1. Updating information on our website.
2. Assisting with estimating and make ready processes.
3. Processing online maintenance requests from residents.
4. Social media posting/updating.
5. Data entry for accounts payable and credit card transactions.
We're looking for someone who is a fast learner, with great written and verbal communication
the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an
expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with
most of them.
- Web research using search engines like Google, IE,
Bing, etc
- Gmail and other
- Google Docs
- Google Sheets
- Google Calendar
- Communications apps like
Telegram, Slack, Hangouts, FB messenger, etc
- Project management software (
Asana, Evernote, Google Docs)
- Time management or time tracking software
(TimeProof, Time Doctor, Tmetric, Toggle)
Once you complete your 3 months probation, you will get:

We have created a database of training material including written information and videos with screen
You'll be working with both of the company owners. As our business grows you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities. You may transition into more advanced roles and train and/or supervise your replacement in this role. We're looking for **very long term** employees. This is a salaried position, we hope to find a committed long term person to add to our team that is interested in growing and improving themselves and the business.
Our office hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm central time. Many of your responsibilities would need to be completed within this timeframe, others can be completed at any time.
