UK experienced Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced UK Accountant to join our UK team. Being a great Ninja means you are proficient in Xero and able to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a supportive team!

The role will be full time starting in January 2022 with the comfort of working from your own home with a deal of flexibility within the hours that you work.

You should have a minimum 3 - 5 years work experience in UK accounting, ACCA qualified or similar candidates will be given priority. The ideal candidate will have;


The ideal candidate will have;

- Ability to process VAT returns from end to end.
Review bookkeeping to ensure accuracy.
Knowledge of UK VAT required along with international VAT knowledge.
Submit VAT returns through Xero
Answer client queries and questions around VAT

- VATOSS experience
Complete VATOSS returns from bookkeeping in Xero Knowledge of VATOSS and how to calculate
Complete VATOSS returns from bookkeeping in Xero
Verify bookkeeping to source platforms / documents.
Knowledge of VATOSS and how to calculate
Experience of submitting VATOSS online desired but not essential (training can be given)

- Knowledge of UK Year End Accounts
Be able to complete a set of Financial Year end accounts from prepared bookkeeping
Prepare working schedules / reconciliations
Highlight any corrections or feedback for the bookkeeping ---------- lculation of Corporation Tax

- Experience of working with Government Gateway account including MTD
The ideal candidate will be able to manage the Government Gateway account, including obtaining client authorisations and ensuring accuracy up to date.

- Experience of working with Companies House and submitting confirmation Statements a bonus but not essential to be a successful applicant.
