About Us:
www.rivalripper.com is our eBay listing platform. We currently support over 100+ clients and we use the software ourselves to manage our own eBay businesses. We also have a few other projects that do a lot web scraping and data mining.

Requirements:
80% of your day will be coding and web development tasks and 20% will be Virtual Assistant Tasks. As we grow, your duties will move to 100% coding as we will then most likely hire someone to take on those duties.

You will be coding features for an eBay.com listing management platform that communicates with eBay’s API. The core of our platform is already built. We dont use any PHP frameworks. It's all custom and module based. Each module basically has 3 files (a view/template file for the HTML/CSS, a PHP file for interaction with the database, and a JS file for sending and receiving commands via our own API which is just PHP files. You will be assisting our CTO in developing new features. You will also help with other projects that involve web scraping data using Xpath and Curl via PHP.

The Virtual Admin tasks will include fulfilling orders online, setting up ebay accounts for us, and answering ebay store questions (via email only) on our software platform. No phone or real time communication is required for these ebay tasks. We may also ask you do research occasionally but again at no more than 20% of your time. We definitely want you focusing on coding but we may ask you to take on a few roles occasionally to help us out.

Additional Experience A Plus (we will train you):
PHP/Mongo Class
Mongo Queries using PHP Arrays
eBay API (we use currently)
Shopify API (we want to expand to)
Web Scraping (we crawl retailers)
Xpath (web scraping patterns)
Xml (used by ebay API)

Hours:
We are flexible but expect full time (35 to 40 hours per week on average) Monday through Friday. We currently operate in Phoenix, Arizona USA but working in our time zone is not required. Holidays and personal days are flexible as well.

Communication Methods:
Email, Google Docs, Trello, and Skype Chat (video not needed). We would most likely handle and discuss things every couple days or so via Skype Chat.
