Audio and Video Editor (Podcast, Courses and Social Media)

The role of audio and video is of major importance to our business and this hands-on role will support the main mission of our company, which exists to make the lives of small business owners better.

This role contributes to the mission by getting the word out and making people aware of what it is that we do and by enhancing our members sense of community by supporting their feeling of connection and access to information.
The purpose of the role is to use your audio video editing skills to create amazing assets that will be used across a variety of channels so that we can build brands, educate and drive sales.

You will be given raw material that you will need to document, cut, edit and compile into multiple formats for use by the social media team, promotions, public relations and for use at events.

One of the major areas of audio editing will be for putting together the audio base for a number of educational courses that we are developing.

The material that you are supplied may include audio recordings, camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. You will be responsible for editing and producing audio, photos and videos for internal and external purposes. You will also need to extract relevant short clips that will be used for promotional activities.

This is a new position so first year challenges will be to develop systems and process surrounding production.

We have a large backlog of audio editing so this will be the priority for the first few months of the role. Scripts are used in development of the courses so cutting and editing (silencing) will need to be in line with these.

We use Audacity to edit the material as this is a software available to all tea ---------- mbers.

Excellent level of English will be needed to ensure correct cutting and editing points. You will be required to do a test so that we can see the time taken to produce and the quality of the edit.
