Do not contact me if you have NO experience with CAKEphp. Just PHP skills is not good enough.

We have a web admin system which we use for managing tenancies for rooms in houses in New Zealand. We have a team in Manila and a CEO who created the system so far but there needs to be more features and security built to accommodate our rapidly expanding company. Our CEO doesn't have the time and some of the features are beyond his skill level.

Here's a draft of the contract so far:

1. Work hours at 9am to 5pm Manila time, Monday to Friday. You may have an hour lunch break of 12-1pm or 1 to 2pm.
2. Work hours are not the time to do personal errands, bathing or other non-work activities activities that take more than 10 minutes.
3. You must be logged into Hangouts and Skype when you are working
4. You will work from home but you will be required to come into HQ in Paranaque every once in a while. (We will cover travel expenses)
5. You will observe the 10 Communications Commandments (attached)
6. You will use TimeDoctor to log your work. You only get paid for time that is actually recorded by Time Doctor and it takes pictures of you screen every so often. Time Doctor turns off the timer after 9 mins of no keyboard and mouse movements.
7. ‘Edited time’ in Time Doctor doesn’t count. Remember to clock in on Time Doctor.
8. You are expected to take on 40 hours a week of work. Overtime is permitted to a maximum of 60 hours a week without making prior arrangements with me but you must be available at the start of your next shift and you must sleep for at least 7 hours each night. Overtime is paid at the normal rate.
9. You will get a bonus for clicking on a link at the start of your shift and at a random time during your shift you'll be emailed another link to click on. If you click on the link within 30 mins and do all this successfully for the week you get a bonus of NZ$30, $15 for missing only 2. Results will be recorded and if you are consistently late or fail to respond your position in the company will be reviewed.
10. Occasionally a mystery call will come in via Skype. Not answering during your scheduled hours will be counted the same as not clicking on the link.
11. The hourly pay rate is NZ$7.21 (about PHP223)
12. We will pay into a New Zealand bank account. We can arrange this for you so it's in your own name and you have an ATM / Visa Debit card. To make an international withdrawal at an ATM costs NZ$6. You can add NZ$6 each week to your invoice to cover this expense. This is actually the cheapest way to pay you. You will have access to internet banking to check on your balances etc.
13. You are responsible for your own health insurance and tax
14. You only get paid for the work that you do. Sick leave is permitted (1 day out of 3 months) but you don't get paid for it. You are to notify me if you are sick.
15. For power outages use your laptop or go to an internet cafe or to the company HQ in Paranaque which has a back up generator.
16. For internet outages, keep ‘load’ card for your mobile phone so that you can switch to the mobile networks for internet access and to keep the office running.
17. National Philippine holidays are observed and you don't have to work but you don't get paid for them (You need to provide a list of them in advance)
18. If you do work on national holiday days, by mutual agreement, I pay you double. If you work anyway without agreement from me, I pay you the normal rate.
19. You get 2.5 days of holiday leave each month. Holiday leave needs to be prearranged and authorized. You don't get paid for holiday leave.
20. Early Termination of the agreement can be done by either side by giving 3 weeks’ notice, unless for serious misconduct by you which can constitute immediate dismissal without the need to pay the wages for the notice period.
21. Each week you are calculate the hours from Timedoctor, create an invoice for me and then setup the transfer amount in our banking systems for me to authorise and release to you. The work week is Mon to Sun. Create for the payment for that week after Sunday and I will pay it on for before Friday.
22. There MAY be other bonuses offered for statistics recorded in Freshdesk, our online support ticketing

24. You work for my benefit only.
25. This contract is for 6 months – reviews will be done about 1 month prior to the end of the contract at which point you may be offered a new contract.
26. If it's not this contract, it's not agreed upon. Don't assume anything - negotiate.
