MECHANIC TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing vehicle engine systems.
• Repair brake and steering systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
• Inspect machines, engines, etc., and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
• Replacing parts and components of service vehicles.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle
examinations.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle
users.
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
• Ensure project timeline is met and the project stays within budget.
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical technology or a related field.
• Additional relevant diplomas or certifications is an advantage.
• Familiar with Suzuki Carry, Foton Gratour, Mitsubishi L300 service vehicle repair and
maintenance is an advantage.
• 2+years of experience working as a Mechanic Technician.
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their
components.
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
• With valid driver’s license restrictions for conducting test drives.
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.
• Ability to multitask, be proactive, resourceful and work well under pressure.
• Maintains a level of professionalism.
• Can interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical thinker and problem-solver.
