JOB OVERVIEW

We are considering candidates even without the RE experience, we really need a person who has a very strong Marketing (managerial experience) background. We are looking to hire a Marketing Manager with a responsibility of forming a marketing team (graphic designer, content writer, SEO are the 3 roles we expect this position to hire for us). This marketing manager should also have a very strong background with creating lead magnets and adept in email marketing.

This role will also spearhead in creating a website and will pose as a business consulting company that offer services to multiple industries.

Location: Remote (Full time Work from Home)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: up to $15 per hour DOE

We are in need of a Marketing Manager who is also a writer (content or copy) to monitor market trends and write articles that are relevant to what our customers are looking for. If this person doesn’t have the domain knowledge, s/he needs to interview me or other employees who are domain experts in order to write a certain topic.

As a Digital Marketer:

Tech savvy, very good with spreadsheets and numbers
Should be knowledgeable with many modern day marketing tools like Zapier, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools
Able to generate reports from various ad platforms, implement conversion tracking, measure and analyze results over time, and identify trends
Will work with graphic designers, web developers to create effective campaigns
Needs to have a very clear understanding of what’s the campaign's objective, the expected results, how to use writing, graphics, video or whatever media to complete the campaign
Launch the campaign, measure the result, make changes to optimize the campaigns, measure again and repeat.
Very strong background with creating lead magnets and adept in email marketing


This person should have knowledge or at least familiar with the following topics we often write:

Real estate market trends
Macro economy
New gadgets, electronics
New green home products
Smart home technologies
Home improvement and renovation
Interior design
Personal finance & wealth management
New legislation in real estate industry

Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, create and transform ideas into words
Write clear and persuasive content for websites and other means of advertising
Revise, edit and proofread content as needed or directed by the client
Edit own work prior to submission to ensure error-free content
Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior


Requirements:

Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or any equivalent is a plus.
Must have relevant experience in writing (business or creative)
Writing for an eCommerce site and/or technology is an advantage
Above-average research skills
Experience with keyword placement and other SEO best practices is an advantage
1-3 years of professional writing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Keen eye for details
Can work remotely
