Virtual Operations Assistant

LOCATION: You will be working remotely using systems provided by Teacher Horizons. This is a contractor position that can be done from anywhere - so long as you have an excellent internet connection.

Teachers use us to explore job opportunities at international schools and get personal advice and support. Schools use us to promote their vacancies and access our community of 300,000 teachers and leaders.

SUMMARY: We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with lots of initiative and energy. Your role will be to support the Management team with administrative tasks. As we continue to grow, the role has the potential to grow into other directions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Correspond with clients via email
Use systems to track and manage data
Send marketing campaigns to teachers
Update and manage school profile pages online
Research and add data to website
Support Marketing team with additional tasks
Support Director of Operations and the Operations team with additional tasks

The role is particularly suited to a self-motivated person with plenty of initiative who believes in the Teacher Horizons vision and can see the longer-term opportunities of being involved in a growing organisation.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:
Must be efficient in written and spoken English
Experience writing in a professional context
Organised, diligent and systematic with good attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly to new situations
Confident and fast IT skills
Experience of international travel / education
