The opportunity
A 2020 study from the UCLA School of Law’s Williams Institute found that nearly half of LGBTQ+ adults in the U.S. identify as moderately or highly religious, over 4.1 million of which identify with some form of Christian faith. believr is designed with the unique needs of this community in mind!
The role
This internship will provide you with real-world, hands-on experience from an innovative mobile app company! We encourage creativity and innovation in this position and would like to bring on an someone who will contribute to the continued growth of
-Complete deliverables on behalf of the CEO, including drafting business responses, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company
-Assist with graphic design needs for the website, digital marketing, and pitch decks
-Draft and proofread memos, letters, presentations, contracts, reports, and marketing materials
-Manage the complex and ever-changing calendars of our CEO, including balancing multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities and deadlines
-Coordinate and manage key internal and external meetings (such as all-hands meetings, leadership team meetings, board meetings, executive meetings, etc.)
-Keep the global team running smoothly by managing the company schedule in Google Calendar, as well as forming and organizing lists, databases & contact sheets (using Google Sheets & Google Drive)
-Manage confidential and non-routine information
-Represent the company executives in your daily interactions with both internal and external stakeholders
-Facilitate stellar internal communication, including meeting agendas, notes, presentation decks, and ownership of follow up tasks
You should
-Be a top-notch communicator, with remarkable people skills
-Be detail oriented and excellent at time management
-Be a power user of online productivity tools (e.g. Slack and Google apps)
-Be a self-starter. You are adaptable and thrive in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations where you can think on your feet
-Be a hard worker, proactive, have extraordinary problem-solving skills, and can demonstrate a proven track record of making things happen
-Be flexible with shifting priorities, and able to always exercise strong judgment
-Thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
-Have the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
-Have BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
-Excellent writing skills with attention to grammar and tone
-Be proficient in Google Apps (Google Drive, Docs, Calendar, Spreadsheets, etc)
You might
-Have experience with design and video tools like: Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
You have to
-Attend a weekly meeting on Mondays at 4pm - 5pm PST
-Be available at least one day on the weekend
