Do you have a passion for travel, writing, and learning about amazing new places? Adventure Life is a leader in small ship cruises and tailor-made trips worldwide, looking for a Travel Writer skilled at creating online web and social media content and data entry for our online travel itineraries.
Create informative, engaging online itinerary content for a leading worldwide tour operator's website, and learn how to implement SEO tactics in your writing. Manage data and rates entry for online itinerary display. Assist the Content Manager in drafting social media posts using our management tool. This is a remote role, you can work from anywhere. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week during our office hours in the USA. (M-F 8 AM - 5 PM Mountain Standard Time).

Requirements:
Consistent internet connectivity required, minimum 25 mbps with accessible backup option.
Excellent English writing skills including copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong research skills.
Excellent organizational skills
Pays the utmost attention to detail.
Ability to write clearly and succinctly about places and activities familiar and unfamiliar to you.
Has the ability to adopt an established brand voice, and adhere to style guidelines and standards.
Ability to learn and operate digital content management
Passionate about creating engaging content for social media platforms and empowering our brand.
Dual computer screens to enhance efficiency is helpful.
Strong command of Google Suite Apps
Social Media Duties (5-10 hours/week):
Monitor
Draft posts for our social media channels
Participate in monthly meetings to analyze data/insights on channel performance
Collaborate with the Content Manager to develop strategies to improve social media following
Bonus Points:
Has traveled extensively internationally with a wealth of geographic knowledge.
Is familiar with the international luxury and adventure market.
Has experience writing about travel and wants to perfect their trade.
Has social media management experience and engages with social media regularly.
Expectations:
*Must register as an Independent Contractor with the Bureau of International Revenue in the Philippines.
*Required to provide your fast internet access that meets the company’s requirements (min 25 mbps), with backup internet
*Required to purchase and maintain your own computer hardware
*Must have a quiet workspace in your home
*Experience with the cloud platforms we use is helpful - GMail, Google Workspace,
Our needs are immediate. Please note that this is a short-term contract that could evolve into a long-term position should you excel in the role.
