Social Media Manager

We are a growing marketing firm looking for someone to help lead our social media efforts.

We are currently handling social media (mostly Instagram) for a couple of clients and are looking for someone who can develop social media strategies, produce creative content and grow a loyal follower base. We would like to gain followers who are genuinely interested in the valuable content that we offer and aren’t interested in fake followers who really have no interest in what we are doing.

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media and has a passion for it.
- Must be obsessed with trying and testing different things until the perfect solution is found.

Responsibilities include:
- Developing social media strategies to drive engagement and increase following.
- Planning out a calendar of social media postings and stories.
- Developing posts – you can design them yourself or work with our designer.
- Writing, proofreading, and editing captions.
- Monitoring social media statistics/analytics and coming up with ideas and strategies on how to further improve following and engagement.
- We are looking for someone who has relevant experience in handling several social media accounts with a proven track record.

The ideal candidate:
- Strong interpersonal skills, passion to connect with people
- Someone who is creative and has a marketing mindset
- Well organized, and can prepare a content calendar
- Can strategize and execute on those strategies
- Has good analytical skills
- On top of the latest digital marketing trends
- With at least 3 years of experience

Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 9 am - 6 pm in EST time zone. Sometimes the hours may be shorter and sometimes longer based on the workload.
