Hive Creation is a small UK based business that helps other businesses to improve the way they operate. We help them with their strategy, their systems right through to their people and performance management. We do this through a blend of training, coaching, mentoring and consulting. At times, we also support our clients by providing tea ---------- mbers to complete tasks and activities within their businesses too. Oftentimes the tasks are similar and follow the same systems and methods which makes the transition easy and adds extra value for our clients

We are looking to grow the business by adding additional products, services and through strategic partnerships. As such we need to strengthen and add to our team. This is where you come in

As a UK based company, our clients all speak English as their first ---------- 's therefore really important that you have a good standard of English speaking and writing. For some roles we can be flexible with working hours, but they should be based around the UK working day

The Role:
The position of Website Developer is needed on a freelance basis to help assist us on both internal projects and projects for our clients. For this we are looking for trusted partners that we can work with again and again. Much of the work we do is repeatable and therefore for the right person there is onward opportunity

Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent.  
2+ years of web development experience. 
Have a good grasp of website front end development with a competent understanding of coding in HTML, CSS, Wordpress, Wix, Plugins & SEO support or Java, project management software is an advantage
Strong skills in virtual design
Attention for detail
Understand product specifications and user psychology
Creative customer-centric design thinking
Skills to ideate, conceptualise, test and refine designs
Strong analytical and communication skills

Other Requirements:
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Can work under pressure to meet pressing deadlines and anticipate business needs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and be comfortable in an evolving environment
You must have a solid ethical framework and an understanding of confidentiality. You should have demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic in prior work experience
You will need a stable internet connection with an internet speed of 25 Mbps minimum
Must have a laptop or PC workstation with webcam and microphone
Laptop Specs:  Provide screenshot upon submission of application
Suitable work environment at home and not at public area such as coffee shop
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Design and build a new Wix website for our business
Complete an extensive refresh on our two current Wordpress websites. We possibly may want these rebuilding completely in Wix
Ongoing development of all websites to meet needs of our evolving business
Optimise functionality across all websites to achieve optimal end user experience
Work with our clients to help meet their website development needs

Job Type:
Part Time Freelance: Initially we will work on a trial basis to make sure we are both a good fit for each other. Then upon review we will firm up our working arrangement and use you for regular projects

Working Hours:  
Project dependent with an estimation of 10-20 hours per week initially

Working pattern:  
Can be flexible dependent on project but mostly Monday - Friday for availability to communicate
Hourly Rate of Pay: 3-5 GBP / hour dependent on experience and skills
