JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for awesome Credentialing Specialists to be part of our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent work-from-home (WFH) position, 40 hours per week, 5 days.

If you have experience with provider enrollment and are someone who has high attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, proactive, and well-organized, we want to meet you!

As a credentialing specialist, you will process applications, verify information, research application details, and ensure processes are in accordance with medical staff procedures. The specialist will provide consistent, accurate, and timely credentialing support to enhance our organization’s professional services. Work includes the accurate, timely, and document verification of the information provided by the provider and maintenance of the highly confidential credentialing related files.

- Shift: United States daytime – Hours TBD (flexible on exact hours; Mountain Time)
- Rate: Commensurate with experience
- Wages paid bi-weekly
- 13 days paid leave/sick leave
- 5 U.S federal holidays paid
- Home office allowance paid
- HMO allowance paid for applicant and 1 dependent
- Eligible for performance bonus

Responsibilities

- Credentialing and recredentialing of physicians, and medical groups with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers
- Completion, submission, and tracking of credentialing applications
- Apply for and validate hospital privileges
- Maintain and update CAQH, Availity, and other online credentialing applications for providers, as required

Key Competencies

- Solid years of experience in a related or equivalent role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,) and other web-based applications
- Ability to maintain verbal and written communications in a confidential manner
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong team player who can prioritize multiple responsibilities, manage large workloads within tight timelines, and works well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrates research and problem-solving skills
