BIG DATA | ANALYTICS SPECIALIST (AI | MI)

This candidate will be a high-level individual contributor to the Data Science team as a Machine Learning Specialist, ensuring that the group stays on top of the latest methodologies and trends in quantitative approaches to "Big Data" opportunities. This candidate will also assist the team in the development and deployment of new predictive models, as well as the use of existing models to solve business challenges. They'll use machine learning to create the next generation of models for our members, clients, and internal business partners, with the goal of increasing margin or lowering operational costs. This position will report directly to the CEO and will allow you to work with a variety of business divisions across the company.
This job will also serve as a thought leader for advanced analytic projects and solutions. The candidate should be able to think strategically about data and be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting without sacrificing quality. • Data Exploratory Analysis.
• Perform data mining by applying machine learning and supervised learning algorithms.
• Support advanced analytical and data mining efforts which could include but are not limited to clustering, segmentation, logistic and multivariate regression, decision/CART trees, neural networks, time-series analysis, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and Bayesian analysis
• Visualize, interpret, report, and communicate data findings creatively in various formats and audiences using Tableau, ggplot.
• Integrate with cloud-based web technologies via web services API.
• Think creatively and work well both as part of a team and as an individual ---------- CATION
• Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related quantitative disciplines, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s required, Master’s a plus!)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Must be good with sentiment analysis
• Knowledge in GPT3 is a plus!
• Ability to confidently program in Java, C++, and Python, is a plus!
• Expertise in visualization tools like Tableau, ggplot is a plus!
• Having experience building crawlers is a plus!
• Experience working with ---------- for Twitter and Facebook for sentiment analysis
• Experience building data models and putting them into production
• Someone who can challenge internally
• Expert in analytical tools like ReactJS, SAS, SQL.
• Have hands-on experience developing predictive models using analytical methods such as regression, decision trees, support vector machines, Random Forests, Neural Networks.
• Have hands-on experience using relational database management systems (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in Java, Hadoop, HIVE, Scala, Apache Spark, and MLLib – to include developing Machine Learning Algorithms in Spark MLLib and building real-time models preferably in Spark MLLib.
• Exceptional ability to communicate and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

• You need to be 100% analytical, with a problem-solving approach.
• Strong math background in a huge asset.
• Probability, statistics, algorithms – these concepts have to be at your fingertips.
