DyCom SmartStaff is looking for a fully remote Senior Accountant which is a critical role to our business growth, culture, and operations.

The Senior Accountant will work across DyCom SmartStaff to carry out the following responsibilities:
•Manage the Accounting Services Department and the work of staff working therein
•Manage the end-to-end accounting process using Reckon QuickBooks (Account Hosted version), including the month-end closing of multiple entities and prepare financial reports in collaboration with the Operations Manager
•Perform Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations to identify errors and unusual transactions
•Handle the preparation of payroll for Philippine Employees & Contractors
•Manage day-to-day finance functions such as invoicing, processing of bills, etc.
•Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and payment portals
•Handle day-to-day communications with the client and other stakeholders
•Preparation of fortnightly financial reports through a reporting and analysis tool – Microsoft Excel / Power Point Presentation for use by senior management
•Responsible for the accurate preparation and timely filing of BAS and PAYG (Australia)
•Work closely with the Operations Manager and Service Delivery Manager and perform accounting support/tasks as required such as client pricing, employee appraisal, supplier costing and other projects that may be assigned to you by Senior Management
•Prepare budgets and forecasts and analyses revenue and cost trends for Senior Management
•Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and anomalies, and interpret the results thereof
•Liaise with our Tax Consultant in the Philippines for Filing of relevant BIR forms
•Perform bookkeeping activities
•Assist the with Financial Paraplanning
The Senior Accountant role requires:
•Must be a
•At least 3 years work experience in a Financial / Management accounting position
•Must be Tech Savvy. Experience working with a Tech Company is a great advantage
•Highly proficient with Reckon QuickBooks (Desktop version) & Xero accounting tool
•Knowledgeable with Philippine BIR Filing and Forms
•Experience with using Microsoft 365 is highly preferred
•Should be knowledgeable in Australian Accounting specifically with AASB 15
•Has technical know-how in the preparation and review of data for BAS and PAYG
•Can work with minimal guidance and supervision
•Exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills, both verbal and written
•With highly developed and proven problem-solving skills
•Takes ownership of and personal accountability for decisions and actions; can seek guidance and advice when needed
•Highly adaptable and willing to learn how to use other task management and productivity applications
•Has confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external
•Supervise and coach junior members of the company
