JOB OVERVIEW

Goal: To work in collaboration with the sales manager to accurately input customer orders to be fulfilled.


What your day will look like: You will be the dedicated order entry specialist for one sales manager. Every day, the sales manager will send you customer orders via email. You will then go into the online system and enter in the order. All orders must be completed by the end of the day to ensure the customers get their items in a timely manner. If any of the items in the order are not available, you will immediately email the sales manager letting her know that the specific customer's item is out of stock.


You will also create quotations, price updates, and order forms on Microsoft Excel utilizing the information on the online system.


We are looking for: A quick learner, who is detail orientated, and has a great work ethic. Must also be a person who can get along well with the sales manager (we want to ensure a happy working environment for both you and the sales manager).


Requirements: This position requires excellent organization and communication skills, and you must be able to verify order details and accurately enter specific orders into the system.


Hard Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word


Required Skills: Time management, organization, communication, collaboration, ability to be very accurate when inputting the orders


Hours: Part Time: 20 hours per week. Hours are 12 pm to 5 pm Hawaii Standard Time, Monday through Thursday.


Nice to haves: Previous sales experience


Notes: This position has the opportunity for a pay raise if you are able to learn the products and system well and we can delegate more responsibilities to you.
