This posting is for an audition. We will be selecting 3-5 candidates to hire for a test project. After seeing your work, we’ll choose who to bring on to the team.
We are a startup digital agency operating in the USA. We are looking for a long-term talented Social Media Content Writer to administer our social media accounts (LinkedIn). You will be responsible for conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, managing posts, responding to followers, and tracking user engagement. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals and promote our services on LinkedIn.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced VA with demonstrable creative B2B writing skills with whom we can build a long-term relationship. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media (LinkedIn) presence by delivering quality B2B writing pieces that appeal to our audience, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

++Responsibilities:
- Write, edit and publish engaging B2B content for LinkedIn
- Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
- Select appealing images and videos to complement text for LinkedIn articles
- Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion, rates)
- Research industry-related topics (combine online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Develop a content calendar to schedule social media posts and articles
- Optimize content according to SEO
- Write blog articles for our website
++Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a B2B Social Media Content Writer or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles or B2B work samples
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Solid knowledge of SEO
- Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image, and video)
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a reliable internet connection
- Be able to work on shifts (until 23:00hrs Manila time)
- Experience in using social media tools like HootSuite (You don’t need to have this skill to be hired. But if you have it, it would be an advantage).

++ Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position. The position will start at 5-10 hours per week and gradually increase to 40 hours per week over a
30 day period as we train you. We will work initially from Monday to Friday. After training, we may work on shifts including weekends. All possibilities for raises are based on work performance.
You’ll be working with the CEO. As our business grows, you will have the opportunity to manage your own team of content
writers.
++ Training provided:
If accepted, previous experience on LinkedIn social selling is not required I can train you. All the training needed for using the company’s tool stack will also be provided.
What is important is that you are a skilled copywriter who can generate leads through creative content & copy.
++Qualities needed to be successful:
Skills are something that can be learned and perfected over time. As corny as it sounds, there are 3 qualities that we are
looking for:
1. Integrity = Open communication and honesty are paramount to the team. If you aren’t able to hit a deadline or have made a mistake, be upfront about it, there is nothing scary or wrong about that, we are all humans after all.
2. Commitment = We are looking for someone who is looking for a long-term relationship with the expectation that this will become full-time. If you're just looking for a few months of work, this is not for you.
3. Desire to Learn = We are a small team, but growing fast. We want people who are open to learning new skills and taking on new projects. If you're not excited about improving your skills and trying other writing outside of social media; this is not for you.
