We are looking for a great video editor who can help us make videos for Social Media & Youtube for Your Friend In Reykjavik.

Your Friend in Reykjavik offers walking tours and experiences in Reykjavik, Iceland, with over 1000 five-star reviews.

As our Video editor, you will be responsible for developing Videos for Your Friend In Reykjavik on a regular basis in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

Our main channels for videos would be Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and Tik Tok so experience in editing videos specifically for these platforms are necessary

Well-written English is needed for creating our Videos

You will need the necessary research skills to be able to gather the video content relevant for people who love Iceland and suit the business needs of Your Friend In Reykjavik. An important part of the job is to be creative and be able to make interesting web content. That will include using stock videos and photos, editing videos (f.ex. creating short clips from longer videos and recorded Live Streams for social media),

What we need is:

Excellent Video & photo editing skills
Good writing skills in English
Expert knowledge to know the difference between Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok Videos and how to adapt videos to each platform.
A wealth of Experience in using software like Premiere Pro, After effects & more
Understanding how to maximize a Videos worth on each social media platform would be great, like being able to research which keywords would help each video to rank the best
Good organization & time management skills
Great communication skills

We are looking for a person who has a passion for reaching people and providing valuable video content for travelers wanting to experience Iceland, its culture, and its traditions.

A possible part of the job would be writing scripts for video material which we would then record for that specific purpose.

Responsibilities:

Editing and making video content to suit different channels

Delivering that content in a timely manner via Google Drive

Possibly overseeing, planning, and delivering that content across the different platforms, but not a necessary skill.
