JOB OVERVIEW

The Finance Specialist will assist in any or all of the facets of Finance including but not limited to: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting. You will be primarily responsible for timely and accurate payments, invoicing, bookkeeping and delivery of all financial reports.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
• Receipt Bank, Hubdoc, Xero and other Accounting Systems experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Can prepare financial statements, A/R & A/P, reconciliations and do monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Proficient in Excel is a MUST; accurate reporting skills.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical assessment, interpersonal skills, and high level of attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Can work under pressure to meet pressing deadlines and anticipated needs.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and be comfortable in an evolving environment.
• Must possess a solid ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality and has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic in prior work experience.
• Has a stable internet connection with an internet speed of 25 Mbps minimum.
• Must have a laptop or PC workstation with webcam and microphone.
• Suitable work environment at home and not at public area such as coffee shop.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Records daily financial transactions and maintains accurate ledgers
• Monitors office expenses and pays vendor invoices
• Verifies accuracy of transactions and makes sure they’re correctly entered in ledgers
• Develop financial and statistical reports for management
• Accounts Receivable/Debtor Management
• Accounts Payable
• Invoicing
• Data entry
• Other administrative tasks as needed. 

Job Type:
Part Time: Initially we will work on a 4 week paid trial to make sure we are both a good fit for each other. Then upon review your role will become permanent and we will look to increase your hours as appropriate

Working Hours:  
10-20 hours per week, with the potential to increase based on needs of business

Working pattern:  
Mon – Fri. Times can be flexible & will be discussed & agreed 
Hourly Rate of Pay: 2-3 GBP / hour dependent on experience and skills. There is the potential to increase based on performance and business ---------- PANY OVERVIEW:
