• Verify Insurances prior to appointment (to include manual/phone calls verification, if needed)
•Schedule appointments for patients as well as answering phone taking accurate messages.
• Request new patient informations through the EHR
• Manage the uploading of new patient information into the portal
• Attend to Prior Authorization for insurance medical approval
• Answer multi line phone while documenting concise messages from internal/external patients and other customers
•Request medical records from outside providers and follow-up as necessary to ensure receipt
• Accurate scanning and placement of documents into patient charts and labeled correctly to include attaching reports to referral/order in order to close the referral loop
•Add/Update Insurance information into system
• Process outgoing referrals and follow up to ensure patient care has been carried out and request records if needed.
• Make daily reminder calls to patients for upcoming appointments
• Provide exceptional customer service to Patients, referral agencies, families and vendors
Registered Nurse Preferred!!!
Experienced as Virtual assistant in Health care field a plus
Must have a good writing and english speaking skills
