Math Coffee Pte Ltd is a Singapore based company, whose core business includes teaching Mathematics to kids from age 13 to 17. We are currently focusing on the Singapore market but there will be plans to go international when we are ready.

To create a happy, motivating, and kind environment for the kids wherein we inspire kids to learn Math and at the same time also instill the right values and positive attitude.

I need someone who believes in me and my company, and to be willing to grow with me and the team. This person also needs to have the same values and believe in the company’s mission and vision. I need someone who can understand me, is meticulous and does the work fast and is well disciplined to complete the tasks on hand. I need someone who has the following traits/skills.

ALERT: This is only a temporary position for 2 months- with possibility of being a full-time employee depending on performance. You will be working closely with Teacher Kangie, and her Personal Assistant Sam. And the pay will be USD 250 per month. He/she must be an all rounded person (knowing more than just Math), willing to learn, willing to do more.

A HIGHER PURPOSE
The work we do here at Math Coffee is much bigger and beyond us.

Math Coffee’s Vision is to empower the kids to enjoy learning Math and do well in the subject. And other than academic improvement, Math Coffee wants the kids to build on their character and attitude as well.

To grow, Math Coffee wants to train/mentor like-minded educators, so that they can continue the legacy of Math Coffee, to help more kids.

And one day, Math Coffee wants to be able to build schools in less developed countries like Cambodia or Vietnam, to give opportunities for the kids to have a proper channel to take in knowledge. For years, Math Coffee pledged to contribute 5% of whatever it earns, to the charity.

Through our work, many kids and even adults can benefit from our successes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Work very closely with Kangie and her Personal Assistant Sam
-Follow the company’s branding guidelines
-Regularly communicate and collaborate with the team members in Math Coffee
-Record trainings on Teachable platform
-Math Coffee related tasks such as but not limited to:
---Creating Math worksheets
---Uploading of teaching videos to Teachable, YouTube
---Marking the Math homework of students (answers and guidance will be provided)
---Sorting of teaching videos
---To ensure that all documents or work are properly transferred, organized, documented and uploaded in our online cloud.
-Other administrative tasks

BASIC REQUIREMENT
-Able to communicate and write in English. Must have a good computer with a web camera and has very good internet speed connection as will need to connect / communicate through Zoom meetups very often.
-Must be very good with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
-Has the ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
-Analytical and meticulous (Solid attention to detail)
-Independent (Someone who has initiative & discipline to do the work and not chased for work to be done)
-Trustworthy, excellent communication and customer service skills
-Have a good knowledge and understanding of Math
-And lastly, has a strong desire to improve and grow with the team!
