Many projects end over budget and behind schedule due to miscommunications between both parties and the lack of a defined renovation ---------- spite the home renovation industry being worth over $450 billion, it is still a very antiquated industry. Renno is a home design platform that streamlines the renovation process for homeowners and contractors by bringing design, material procurement and project management entirely online.

Role

We are looking for highly skilled backend developers/computer programmers/software developers who will be responsible for developing and designing backend web applications and REST APIs for our products and client integrations. The candidate will also be handling DevOps for existing and new applications. You will work in an environment that is fast paced, has little technical debt, and utilizes the latest technologies in app development.

Required skillset - Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and DevOps experience.

Job description:

1. 2 years experience in writing applications using Node.js including a framework like Express or similar.
2. Must be good in PostgreSQL or other SQL-based databases.
3. Proficient in Javascript and good experience and knowledge of open source tools, frameworks, broader cutting-edge technologies around server-side development.
4. Excellent data structure, algorithm, and problem-solving skills.
5. Created and consumed various APIs in the past.
6. Should be an active contributor to developer communities like Stack Overflow, GitHub, Google Developer Groups (GDGs).
7. Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams, and is able to multi-task.
8. Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoys challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast-growing, and start-up workplace.
9. Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in a fluid environment.
