We are looking for a Social Media Sales Specialist. Looking for a creative, team player and results oriented individual to join their team. The Social Media Sales Specialist will drive engagement and results by analyzing the B2B customer whitespace, crafting the right messaging and deploying these on social sales tools.
Social Media Sales Specialist job responsibilities:
• Analyze the sales customer whitespace (Customers with high potential to purchase or currently non-engaged based on sales numbers) and based on available reports
• Cross reference current targeted customers and audience types with marketing levers such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn email etc.
• Create and curate tailored social media B2B thought leadership content for use in Twitter and LinkedIn channels
• Research internally and externally available materials to be used and drive social customer engagement
• Ensure seller access to localized social content via content aggregator tool
• Follow up execution with sellers through data analytics & event / digital registration Share program performance with stakeholder
• Work with the sales teams to share results, drive engagement, show ROI
Minimum Qualifications:
• Excellent communications skills (key strengths in writing, oral presentations, creative development)
• Two to three years of relevant experience is required
• Sales experience (b2b) or b2b sales support experience preferred
• Formal social media experience (they will be supporting the internal sales folks with social selling)
• Familiarity and usage of LinkedIn Navigator is strongly preferred
• Tech industry is preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
• Deep understanding of social media vehicles and social media engagement.
• Ability to effectively use internet (and other virtual resources) to effectively accomplish daily tasks and duties.
• Strong initiative and ability to deliver results with guidance.
• An understanding of the technology industry and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
