RESPONSIBILITIES:
>Write press releases and prepare information for the media
>Develop a stand on various political issues
>Respond to information requests from the media
>Help clients communicate effectively with the public
>Help maintain the client’s corporate/political image and identity
>Draft speeches and arrange interviews for an organization’s top executives
>Evaluate advertising and promotion programs to determine whether they are compatible with their organization’s public relations efforts

REQUIREMENTS
>Graduate of any 4-year course on Business Management, Political Science, Communications, Liberal Arts, Marketing or organizational Communication
>2-3 years experience in writing (preferebly Journalism) or working for PR companies either as a copy writer, public relations, or communications specialist
>Must have exceptional written english skills
>Must have a political mind and able to develop a stand on various timely issues in the local political landscape
>Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
>Knowledgeable in handling various communication platforms (internet, focus group discussions, copy writing, newsletter writing, feature writing/publishing of articles)
