About Us:
We are a small Team of three (Matt, Chrissy, and Luke) who have been working together for 5+ years and now need to expand to help with our growth. We work with a balanced sense of fun, and dedication to what we do. We enjoy bringing something different to our Readers, and love supporting our Customer.
Between the three of us, our core values are aligned and we are motivated to work with honesty and integrity. We believe that it is much better to have a handshake agreement with an honest person, than an contract with a crook. We operate from a 'Trust First' basis and believe in a 'Fair Day's Pay for a Fair Day's Work' in all that we do.
Our Mentors are people like Napoleon Hill, Gary Vaynerchuk, Stuart Zadel, Earl Nightingale, and Wallace D. Wattles to name a few. Additional to our business activities, we are focused on improving our mindset and building a wealth creation mindset, and want the right Team Members to be inspired to take their self development journey with us.
About Our Business:
We run a collection of websites and are looking for a Copywriter to help with expanding our content creation strategy for two of these websites. These are referred to here as "Site A" and "Site B".
All approved content on Site A and Site B will be published with your name as the Author on the sites and acknowledgement of your work attributed to you through an Author's Bio page that we will help you set up. Please note that all published content will remain the property of Site A or Site B respectively.
"Site A"
Site A is heavily focused on health and nutrition. We have general articles that cover surface level topics with value provided for the Reader in answering basic questions, giving tips, and occasionally promoting our in-house products or affiliates.
Then there are then the deeper, more evidence based articles on Site A which require peer reviewed references to substantiate points made, or studies cited. We do not link out to Wikipedia or Third Party sites in these articles.
Our core focus is on educating our Customers about the products we provide in a granular manner - we tend to go deep in the scientific studies behind these. This isn't as difficult as it sounds, and we're happy to share how we do this, although, you are most likely already comfortable with this type of
Don't worry, we will provide more detailed outlines and examples to follow to all new Team Members joining us.
Site A will require 2 plagiarism free, unique articles a week. These will be a minimum of 600 words each. These will be on topics that we will provided you with in advance, along with the intended keywords and desired outcome (e.g. a call to action to subscribe, buy a product, or simply share some information that is interesting). These articles will go onto Site A and will need to link with other relevant articles on Site A. We will provide the desired article URLs and anchor text for this too.
Site A will also require 2 additional plagiarism free, unique articles a week to be posted on other websites as guest posts to build out our backlink profile. These will be a minimum of 500 words each. We will provide the URL for the page to link to on Site A, and you will have the responsibility of creating the content for this to be posted on other websites.
We will work with you to build out a list of sites that are happy to facilitate 'do-follow' guest posting for this part of the role.
"Site B"
Site B is more general in nature with a magazine feel to it. The topics currently covered on Site B are Camping, Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Technology, Business, Lifestyle, General Health, and more. With Site B there is more scope for creative flare, and much less restrictive structure in referencing.
Site B will require 5 plagiarism free, unique articles a week. These will be a minimum of 600 words each. We will provide sources as the primary area of inspiration and reference. The focus will tend towards 2 x Cryptocurrency, Blockchain or Technology related articles per week, 1 x Camping, Lifestyle, Adventure article per week, 1 x Business article per week, and 1 x General Health article per week.
A little insiders tip for you; a healthy understanding or curiosity on Crypto and Blockchain will go a long way with Site B.
Additional to Site A and Site B, we are building out a Team Site as a part of Site A which is intended to be a Learning Centre with our vision, mission and values, various procedures, training tools, useful info, etc. that will be accessible to Team Members via a login. The purpose of this is to facilitate your ability to find an answer to a question anytime you need it. If there is something missing, let us know and we will address it, and include the update for future reference.
The function of the Team site is to help you feel comfortable and supported as quickly as possible. We are committed to training and working with the right Team Members, and offer up the best of what we can to empower you to feel highly productive and highly
We are happy to share the links to both Site A and Site B with Candidates who are considered to join our Team before making a final decision.
Our aim is to find that happy balance between an appropriate amount of SEO and human readability. We're more likely to lean towards writing for Humans than Search Engines. While on that topic, we have had less than positive experiences with 'spun' content that reads poorly, this type of will not be acceptable.
Wages are negotiable for the right person. Additional opportunities to work with us on other projects may arise. The initial time frame is anticipated to be a commitment of between 20 and 30 hours per week (working hours need to fit in with your home life - they are not a rigid 9am to 5pm).
