JOB OVERVIEW

Our Remote Management System (RMS) enables Qbit to offer quick and efficient support to our clients with remote locations within their business. This system monitors computers and often repairs problems before they affect the end user.

Our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Program ensures that the client’s IT problems, big or small, are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. This system gives the client control of their IT service. Once a ticket is logged via our CRM, its progress can be viewed.

These systems provide an instantaneous, high standard level of service, lowering IT costs and troubleshooting any IT concerns.

At Qbit, we are currently recruiting a Technical Analyst / Report Writer
This is a proactive job, working remotely but still actively being part of a team environment. The job involves the following:
• Conducting daily checks on the efficiency of client’s backups.
• Analysing data and creating monthly client maintenance reports.
• Identifying faults from all client computers systems and raising tickets/alerts to get them rectified.
• Liaising directly with Qbit management on a daily basis.
• Using our RMS – Kaseya for access to data and client information.
• Using Datakeeper for daily back up checks and maintenance. Datakeeper is a managed backup solution that uses Ahsay online backup manager as its engine.

It is essential that you have some formal Computer training; either a degree or diploma in ICT. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products will be highly regarded. Previous experience working with Remote Management Systems is desirable.

• Ability to multi task and be willing to carry out any related IT job as requested by Qbit.

You are expected to work 40 hours per week. Your entire time is to be dedicated to Qbit Computers.
You must have a home or office working environment (not an internet café).
You must have access to fast speed internet, have a PC with large screen.
You must have access to skype.
Qbit will provide the necessary online access in order to perform the job.
Qbit will provide training.
Regular skype conference calls will be made for queries, feedback and supervision of the job.
You must be willing and able to take on more jobs and responsibilities as the job evolves and grows.
Proficiency in Ahsay online backup manager is not essential but desirable.
