Work From Home - Crawling / Scraping Specialist

We are the largest tyre ecommerce company in Australia and looking for a Scraping Specialist to join our company and great IT team.

Location: Remote (Work From Home)
Hours: 30+
Schedule: Base schedule Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. AEST time zone in Australia!
However, this is more flexible once we have a working relationship

We are looking for someone who can maintain and extend our existing scraping suite.

Your daily tasks are:
- Develop and implement new crawlers to keep our database up to date
- Implement new strategies to be less resource hungry
- Quality control of scraped data
- Take ownership of scraped data quality and make suggestions for improvements
- Contribute and potentially lead developing and maintaining an overall scraping plan and strategy

Main requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Experience in web scraping with Scrapy
- Willingness to learn
- Reliability
