Jr Java Developer

This role will be working with an independent software vendor specializing in data management software across a range of industry sectors including aerospace, education, health, government, military, research, banking and commerce.

Project Scope

· Java, C, C++, JavaScript
· Multiple target platforms
· User space and kernel development
· Filesystems and object storage
· Networking and communications
· Cloud technologies
· REST APIs
· UI design and implementation (web based)

Required
· Computer Science or equivalent degree (must be able to provide TOR/Copy of grades)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Java and at least one of C, C++

Desirable
· Strong knowledge of IP Networking
· Familiarity with cryptography technologies and TLS
· Windows and Linux experience
