Video Editor Rockstar

Hello! I’m Amanda and I’m a Real Estate Agent in California, USA. We are looking for a video editor who is able to work on a few different styles of 5-15 minute videos optimized for YouTube, and then be able to find the funniest and important parts and repurpose those videos into 1-3 minute highlight clips for social media such as Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook. We are looking for a full time long term video editor partner.

As you can see, we like complex and engaging videos, heavily edited with added B rolls and overlays, animated transitions and effects, color enhancement, and noise reduction.

You must:
- Be able to create a storyboard for the video and edit the footage accordingly
- Identify things that should be highlighted within the video to be engaging or amusing; or where to place B-roll or zooming/cropping so viewer does not get visually bored
- Produce rough drafts for revisions including: trimming footage, putting clips together, syncing audio, color correction, adding transitions and text popups, adding graphic popups, adding keyed background music, adding sound effects, etc.
- Send drafts to us for revisions and edits
- Make requested edits, and ensure final edit is both logical in flow and engaging to audience
- Continually be switching up graphics, transitions, music, from video to video so that the audience experiences something new with every video
- When YouTube video is completed, create 1-3 minute social media clips for IG, Facebook, and Linkedin with the most interesting part of the video

Requirements:
- Stable internet connection
- Strong grasp of the English language and grammar
- Knowledge of different video requirements on social media - sizing, format, etc.
- Understanding of pop culture, internet humor, YouTube styles and trends
- Expert level experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC or similar caliber video editing software
- Creativity to come up with new ideas
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to adapt to ongoing changes in processes, priorities, tasks, and workflows
- Common sense to know what is appropriate, what is not appropriate

I am looking for someone on a full-time basis to edit 3-5 videos per week.
