The editor of Good Light! Magazine is responsible for filling one new issue of the magazine per month, with excellent content such as portrait photography tutorials and interviews with well-known photographers.

The detailed work description

In case you are not already shocked by the short work description, please read the detailed version:

- Research online and identify excellent photographers, who are teaching portrait photography and who might be willing to provide material for an article in exchange for a publication of their material in Good Light! Magazine.

- Develop ideas how these particular photographers would be able to contribute to the magazine. For example, by making videos or giving us short versions of tutorial videos that they otherwise sell on their website,by sending us an explanation of a special technique they used to make their photos.

- Call and eMail the photographers that you found. Pitch your ideas. Try to get them contributing to the magazine.

- Review the material provided by photographers and assess, if it is good enough for the magazine. Help the photographers to come up with all you need for an article (photos, videos, text, diagrams)

- Turn the provided materials (videos, images, text) into written articles, by using the service iWriter. There you hire a writer, who can write the article for us. You are responsible for making good use of our iWriter budget.

- Put together a “Pre-Layout document” . This is an MS word document that shows which images are used in the article, where they are placed, which videos are used in the article and so on.

- Give the prelayout document to a proofreader on fiverr, to make sure there are no big mistakes

- Work with our designer (a freelancer in Parañaque City that is working for me since 5 years) in order to get the article into the layout of our magazine

- You decide, which article is placed where in the magazine. You decide which photo will go onto the cover. In the end you work with the graphic designer to layout the complete magazine issue.

- You provide the magazine to test readers and you get the designer working in the corrections of the test readers.

- You work with the webmaster in order to get the magazine uploaded to Apple iTunes and to our website.
