DevOps Engineer With AWS Expertise - $25-40/hr

We are a small international team working on an innovative SaaS product that will disrupt its niche. We're looking for a DevOps engineer who will help us set up and maintain internal services for web applications. You will be an independent contractor and this is a fully remote job. Start time would be immediate.


You will be responsible for defining and setting up operational workflows, and advise the growing development team. You will have to take initiative and proactively establish good practices.


Requirements:

5 years in IT with at least 2 years in DevOps
Experience with AWS
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with managing deployment to serverless environments
At least 3-4 hours of work time overlap with UTC-3, available for tea ---------- etings around 13:00 UTC ±2 hours
Fluent in English for daily standup calls

Nice to have:

Experience with AWS Fargate
Understanding of storage solutions: in-memory DBs, Big Data, etc.

Responsibilities:

Setting up CI/CD for pipelines for our development team
Creating VPCs for our environments (backend, DB, access to them from CI/CD, etc.)
Monitoring and looking after applications
Create and maintain a build/storage repository for internal packages
