JavaScript QA Engineer - $15-18/hr

We are a small international team working on an innovative SaaS product that will disrupt its niche. We're looking for a JavaScript QA tester who will help us automate end-to-end testing for an existing application, and help establish good testing practices for a new product. You will be an independent contractor and this is a fully remote job. Start time would be immediate.


Requirements:

1 years in web development with basic understanding of JavaScript
2 years of experience in a webdev QA role
At least 3-4 hours of work time overlap with UTC-3, available for teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings around 13:00 UTC ±2 hours
Fluent in English for daily standup calls

Nice to have:

Experience in a full-time QA role

Responsibilities:

Help us choose automation frameworks, test automation tools
Setting up running end-to-end tests in a CI environment
Be responsible for ongoing QA, sanity checking our products, function testing for new features, Upgrade to see actual infoing JIRA for task tracking and GitLab for code management
Documenting our codebase with articles and comments about limitations or bugs
Daily video calls for standup and when collaborating or problem solving
