WordPress Developer

DealerCraft Inc. is a leading provider of websites, CRM software, and digital marketing in Canada.

We're looking for a dynamic and energetic professional WordPress Developer to design, implement and manage websites using WordPress and Elementor. You will be responsible for both front-end and some back-end development — and manage everything from plug-ins to security updates.

Our WordPress Developers establish and guide website architecture so that our client's websites are attractive and user-friendly. They are responsible for implementing our custom website designs build by our in-house design team, and for editing existing templates using Elementor, as well as troubleshooting and resolving website problems for clients and co-workers.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress custom templates and Elementor
- Collaborate with members of a creative team
- Manage front-end and back-end website development
- Create WordPress themes
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
- Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers
- Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices

Education and Background
It is most likely that the successful candidate will have post secondary education in computer science or a related field and have extensive WordPress experience.

Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency using WordPress and Elementor
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development
- Keen attention to detail

Starting salary will be based on education and experience from $800 - $1200 USD month, paid weekly.
