Webdesigner/developer to slice & code wordpress new design

Hi,

I'm interested in getting my wordpress website: jetsetbabe re-designed.

The way I've done it in the past, I designed it from scratch myself in photoshop (I used to do this as a fulltime job back in the days) and then hand over the ready designed template to the webdeveloper (you in this case) to slice and code it together.

Some of the features I will want to implement in my new design exists already in current design (example: drop down menu, shopping widget etc). However, the problem is that the people who code together my current website (some guys in india) did a terrible coding job!
Meaning: my website is super slow to load! I had another technical guy analyse the slow performance and he told me the coders wrote bad coding for it, so my website is calling more Http requests than for example a large website like amazon does! it's terrible!

So I'm looking now for a webdeveloper who not only can do the slice + coding part well, but also who has knowledge in to making a website load fast! Both on desktop and mobile. I will require that we do a speed test before project starts and a speed test once project is done. The speed is very important for me this time around, so we need to discuss ways on how to make my site as easy as possible.

Besides that I wish to get a responsive website.

I can send over an image of the new design that I have in mind. It's only a mock up so far, I'm still in the process of finishing off the new template in photoshop. But like this you get an idea of how my website will look like, however it only shows the start page.

Pages I will need:
- Start page (like the mock up picture)
- Normal page (about, post page etc) I have approx 800 posts that will use the "normal" template layout.
- Contact page
- Shopping page (I have a plugin called GO Portfolio that you will need to use and tweak it so it looks more less like it does now)

Features:
- If you see my black and white menu on my current design, I want to keep this menu and the white drop down menu the way it is. You might need to re-code it since it may have bad code to it.
- I want to keep my shopping widgets (one in the side bar, one in the footer)
- I want to keep my contact sheet in the footer
- I want to keep my instagram in the footer and sidebar
- I want to keep my social media buttons in sidebar and footer.
- Other small features might come up once I've finalised the layout in photoshop.

For me I'm looking for someone who:
- Knows how to write GOOD code
- Is very attentive to detail
- Knows how to write code to make a website superfast to load
- Is very accurate with pixels, so the website looks professional and clean.
- Delivers good quality work so I don't need to come back and correct errors.
- Is not slow in terms of delivery :)
