Community Management Moderator for Discord Groups

We are looking for people to work with community management within a Discord server. Job roles will include engaging with members of the community, answering common questions, deleting unwanted content, and muting or banning members who break the rules.

We will provide basic training guides to review for how to operate within Discord application. We will provide an evolving list of frequently asked questions and copy/paste text for responding to these repeating questions. We will provide a list of general conversation starters and text based games that can be played in the community. You are encouraged to talk about anything else within the guidelines and converse with members of the community. Your goal will be to keep people engaged and prevent a negative environment. Basically you will be paid to talk to people.

We are looking for 8 hour shifts ideally. We are needing 24/7 coverage and planning on hiring people that will work various hours (to be decided in the hiring process) to accomplish the full time coverage. We are expecting 8-10 people will be needed for this project. You will be added into two Discords, one for our work team and leaders, and one for the community management.

Proficient English typing and comprehension skills required for the community management. Added benefit of existing video game knowledge, NFT knowledge, crypto knowledge.

A computer with internet access and ability to register Discord 2FA required for equipment.

First project is a short term for 6 weeks. There are other projects planned for in the future. During slow times, additional game related projects or social media commenting may be added in the future. Dual screen monitor setups would be required for any multi tasking.
