Virtual Assistant - Associate Writer and Market Researcher for Investments

Job Description
An investment-minded Associate Intern to work directly with one of Solen’s Partners across all of the Partner’s professional activities. The role requires tightly coordinated daily interaction with the Partner and broader team. This position has considerable exposure to investing activities but is not considered a precursor to an investment professional role at the Firm.

Responsibilities
? Help review, monitor, and track new investment opportunities
? Help build outreach and sourcing engine to find software companies in the lower middle market
? Collaborate with the Partner and broader investment team on diligence, preparation
of financial models, analysis, and investment memos for target opportunities, industry research, etc.
? Help manage strategic initiatives with portfolio companies
? Collaborate with Head of IR on quarterly reports and portfolio performance reporting
? Work with Partner to build and maintain network
? Light scheduling and travel logistics in collaboration with administrative team
? Help coordinate content preparation for firm brand initiatives
? Assist in special projects such as branding events, annual meeting, fundraising
opportunities, and content writing
? Design and implement new internal processes and workflows to improve the
operational efficiency of the Partner and broader team
