Job Description:
Primary role is to oversee the delivery of all technology-related requirements executed by the Technology team.
Responsible for Developing and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management and create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals also overseeing IT operations and supervise systems and IT staff. Responsible for providing direction, guidance, and training for the Technology team.
Make calculated decisions based on resource limitations
Understanding of other, non-technical parts of the business is a plus. Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
Responsible for reviewing and evaluating the IT operations with respect to set objectives and goals.
Ensures smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring the performance of systems
Monitoring and Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
Effective hiring practices so that they can build the right team to work for them and further the company's aims.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
8+ years of experience working in IT operations, overseeing technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
Strong knowledge in Redis, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Aurora MySQL,Query Optimizer and Database Design.
Hard core experience in designing and optimizing API.
Strong knowledge of language PHP with Laravel Framework.
Proven experience as a solutions architect or as a technical lead working with development teams who build web, mobile, and API-centric applications.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication English skills.
