Video creator

Slant is seeking someone who is talented a the creation and splicing of videos to join our team and help us grow our audience.

Slant is a digital media startup on a mission to change the game for the better in online news by blending crowd-sourced news with professional editing and a revenue share so people who create great content online can take back power over the publication process. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside a founding team that is deeply experienced in the New York media and journalism space.

Requirements
Must be able to work mornings EST time
Must have time to create at least one news spice video per week with Slant branding on it
Must be completely fluent in written and spoken English
Must have experience creating/splicing video in English
Must be a "news junkie" with a strong sense of the U.S. news cycle and major publications
Must be tech savvy and an expert using video cutting and splicing programs
