Assistant Controller

Enjin is seeking an Assistant Controller (minimum of 5-8 years of experience, remote working) to support our Chief Financial Officer.

Enjin is a blockchain tech company building products that make it easy for everyone to use next-generation non-fungible tokens (NFTs). We are a globally distributed team of futurists and tinkerers building the most robust NFT ecosystem in the blockchain space. Our cryptocurrencies Enjin Coin (ENJ) and Efinity Token (EFI) have a combined market cap of over US$3 billion.

What You'll Do
- Assist in managing accounting processes and ensures accurate and timely completion of recording of transactions (including cryptocurrency transactions)
- Assist in preparation, completion, and finalization of annual financial statements
- Produce financial reports for internal management reporting
- Manage effective and efficient month-end closing and reporting processes
- Assist in determining tax treatment of key items (including cryptocurrency items)
- Manage external accountants to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements and deadlines
- Manage financial software adoption
- Review company products to ensure accurate accounting recognition and tracking of key financial and operating metrics
- Assist in management and analysis in relation to ENJ/EFI cryptocurrencies
- Monitor and report cash position and cryptocurrency assets
- Prepares and implements internal control policies
- Assist in management of corporate treasury
- Assist in strategic planning and research and execution of strategic projects

Who You Are
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Big 4 experience an advantage
- Graduated in top 10% from leading university in home country
- Master’s degree an advantage
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in financial controller, accounting or similar roles
- Proficient with accounting software
- Proficient with cryptocurrency accounting software an advantage
- Strong math, finance and writing skills
- Strong with IFRS, SFRS, US GAAP and other global accounting standards
- Able to work independently as part of remote working team, in a flat, open company culture. Work not limited to purely accounting/finance matters.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Interested in blockchain and NFT technology
- Domain experience in gaming and the Polkadot ecosystem an advantage
- Blockchain specific finance/accounting experience an advantage
- Willing to play video games and mint NFTs
