SOCIAL MEDIA MANGER

Introduction
Hello! We are a collection of small businesses in the food and beauty industry including restaurants, a coffee shop, and beauty salon based in Vancouver Canada. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative EXPERIENCED SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER to support us in the backend of our businesses for the long term as we continue to grow.

Skills Required:
- Good communication skills, fluent in English, very comfortable speaking and writing in English
- Honest, responsible, and resourceful
- Positive attitude, open to feedback
- Must be a quick learner as duties may evolve and tasks may change
- Able to follow directions carefully and efficiently (both spoken and written directions)
- Pro-active and is able to work independently to complete tasks on time and efficiently with minimum supervision
- Strong computer skills, including a great working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Drive, Excel
- Experience in Graphic Design, and design programs like Canva an asset
- Social media experience

We are looking for our next tea ---------- mber who can help us with tasks related to:
- You will be doing a variety of social media, web development, and marketing tasks
- Create social media content and posts, write copy and schedule social media posts on a weekly basis
- Manage multiple accounts with emerging Social media platforms like Facebook & Instagram.
-Helping with engagement on social media platforms (Leaving comments, replying to comments, liking relevant posts)
- Have an artistic eye to be able to plan content for approval - Not everything can be on auto-post.
-Respond to messages and comments
-Engage with followers and other related accounts
-Increase followers organically

Other Details:
-This is a permanent part-time position, with an opportunity to become full-time. There will be a probationary period of 2 weeks which should be enough time to determine if it is a good fit. After the probationary period we will evaluate the position and the candidate and if performance is good, an offer for permanent employment will be made.
-20 hours per week to start with an opportunity to transition to 40 hours or more per week for the right person.
-Pay rate will start at $300 USD per month for 20 hours of work per/week, with opportunities for raises and bonuses based on performance.

-Annual bonuses and flexible work schedule so long as all tasks are completed as needed
