Video Editor

We are a Shopify E-Commerce dropshipping company. Most of our business is in the beauty / cosmetics niche and for this we are looking for a new video editor to hire part-time initially and then full-time.

Role:
As a video editor you edit or find HD product video’s that have a very strong commercial flair and professional branded feeling. You will be assigned a product for which you will source clips and create 7 videos per week initially then in future you will have a different list of products assigned.

You will be given the template for the build up of a video set. This template includes the types of videos that are to be used on every product to allow for best conversion. You will have a structure to follow that allows you to easily d ---------- what direction to take with the material you found online.


Your responsibility is to find out what it is that makes customers tick by looking at the angle used in the video and photo's from websites. Looking at competitors' products page to scan for great video’s together with Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, Amazon reviews & ---------- ing various internet platforms such as youtube (influencers), competitors, google images & pexels, you come up with a set of 3 video’s that can be used to add to our marketing.

Requirements:
For this job, you will need:
1. Strong English Speaking skills
2. A stable internet connection.
3. 2+ years of video editing experience (preferably in the beauty / cosmetics niche)
4. 14+ hours / week to do the job
5. Your own video editing software
