Business Analyst

This is a full-time position at a fast-growing e-commerce startup. This position is a work from home position where strong communication skills is a must.

A skilled Business Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. They identify problems and opportunities within a company and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business' goals.

Salary range: Up to $40 per hour depending on experience

Day to day Position Responsibilities:

• Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the business.
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Planning and monitoring
• Financial modeling
• Variance Analysis
• Reporting
• Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
• Develop new models that underpin sound business decisions.
• Able to provide financial insights that help the decision-making process, and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget.
• Identifying any problems with the current business model
• Analyzing the structure of a business to determine how it operates and determine its objectives
• Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements
• Carrying out training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teams
• Carrying out periodic quality check

Qualities we look for:

• With e-commerce background (Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Etsy, shopify…etc..)
• Able to demonstrate with 3 to 4 years of business analyst experience
• Able to demonstrate with 2 to 3 years of financial analyst experience
• Able to demonstrate with 2 to 3 years of experience working with senior decision makers.
• Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements as well as plenty of experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with understanding of key performance indicators.
• Proven analytical background

• Previous experience as a Business or Financial analyst or in a similar field.
