Looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual interested in YouTube and video marketing to join our team. We create videos across a variety of channels and are looking for a manager to help with project management and handle final delivery of uploading videos, adding all the required metadata, writing social media and blog posts, and promoting across other networks.
YouTube channel management experience isn't necessarily required, but you should have a strong understanding of how YouTube and video production works and its features, along with an obsessive attention to detail, curious mind, and desire to always be learning.
Some of your weekly responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with project management for 10+ videos at a time
- Coordinating media assets, including videos, photos, thumbnails, and transcript files
- Uploading to YouTube and inputting all the appropriate metadata that will be on our project system
- Identifying key
- Using additional YouTube tools to add keywords
- Updating video status across different platforms
- Download various analytics and import data into spreadsheets or other apps
- Writing social media posts and posting on various sites
Podcast Responsibilities:
- Proofread transcripts. This requires strong expertise in written English, both for spelling and grammar. We use AI to generate transcripts, and it's 90?curate but needs final proofreading for correcting words, grammar, and sentence structure. This is important because the transcript turns into captions that the whole world can read, so grammar matters.
- Find links for things mentioned in the show. You need a strong awareness of what a listener might want to learn more about. Did someone in the podcast mention a book or video? Your job is to identify that
- Build show notes. You'll take all the links you find and compile them together using our template
- Upload podcast files and schedule social media posts
- Do some basic research for potential guests
- Identify key
Experience with ClickUp is a plus but not required.
This is a full-time position. Work hours are flexible but you should have at least 1 working hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time 2-3x a week.
Please note if you have previous YouTube experience and any channels you worked on that you can
Thank you!
