Senior dev lead for continuous development of a React Native app

We are recruiting a senior developer to lead our React Native app development.

The app already exists and running. We have 2 part-time mid-level contractors working on it. But we need a dev lead to speed up the progress of building out new features and fixing bugs.

Requirements:

- Speed is key. We are willing to pay a higher-than-market rate, as long as you are productive. You can deliver high-quality code. And you can do it faster than most other developers.
- Quality is also important. Our app is for long-term maintenance. You are expected to write elegant, easy-to-understand code. And yes you are expected to do it in JavaScript.
- Trade-offs and prioritization. You need to understand the priorities, and when to ask questions when the priorities are not clear to you. You also need to understand how to make tradeoffs based on priorities.
- Result-oriented. You need to understand things like unit testing, linting, typescripts vs vanilla javascript don't matter nearly as much as results such as fewer bugs, more responsive user experience, and higher development speed.

How is this job structured:

We will do a short screening. After that, we will offer you this job on a trial basis. You will be working on a couple small tasks and being paid by hourly rate during the trial period. If we like your work, we will exit the trial period with a long-term contract.

We are open to hiring you as a full-time, salaried employee with stock equity incentives if you are also interested.
