Financial Controller (Accounting Manager - Australia)

About the Role
- Managing an assistant accountant and reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for all areas of finance including:
- Monthly management and year end reporting and analysis;
- Weekly cash reporting;
- Overseeing weekly payroll and accounts receivable functions
- Lodging BAS and other statutory requirements
- Manage overall budget and re-forecasting in Xero
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
- Reporting P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow
- Drive continuous improvements to reporting and systems;
- Ad-hoc analysis for the Executive Team when required.

About you
- You will be self-motivated with a positive approach
- The ability to communicate across different groups at all levels in the business;
- You will be happy to work across the whole finance function
- 7 + years accounting experience;
- Experience with Xero highly regarded
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar
- Completion of Professional Qualification (CA or CPA or CFA)
- Strong Technical competence in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Strong Technical competence in Financial Accounting, with demonstrated Professional Development
- Strong Technical competence in Australian Taxation, with demonstrated professional development
