Server Administrator

We are looking for a Server Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities of a System Administrator:

-Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our servers which is based on Centos and ubunto with Plesk.
-Install and upgrade systems and manage our dedicated servers, and integrate automation processes.
-Troubleshoot software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
-Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
-Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance

Qualifications for System Administrator:

-Graduate of BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field,or equivalent experience required
-3-5 years experience in database Mysql, Centos, Ubuntu, Plesk, network administration, or system administration
-Has certifications in System administration and IT (Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus)
-Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
-Experience with scripting and automation tools.
-Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.

Daily task:

Install WordPress and provide our designers with access and when the designer is finished launch the website for them. You should have strong knowledge in DNS (Cloudflare). Also, you will create mails accounts for our clients through our mail server ( Mailcheap). You will be managing our servers and making sure that there will be no down time, which must be your first priority. We are using Zoho for communication.
