We are a growing digital marketing company based in Sydney Australia that services a large number of clients and industries. We are seeking to expand our small team with an additional full time Developer. We build and promote a combination of Marketing, eCommerce, Membership and interactive functional websites for our clients, based on the WordPress & WooCommerce platforms.

Job Description
We are looking for someone who has a passion for all things Digital Marketing ... WP page building, SEO, maybe even Ads. An allrounder you might ---------- t expecting you to be an expert across all disciplines, but certainly have had experience with WordPress and basic SEO during your ---------- this role, you will split your time 50-50 across WordPress Implementation tasks (landing pages, full site builds) and promoting websites via SEO. If you consider yourself a digital rockstar and have experience across this landscape, this role is for you.

The ideal person will have min 3+ years experience with WordPress and a similar experience with creating and executing an effective SEO campaign. You will be supported by an SEO lead and content specialist.

Joining a small team, this FULL TIME role will have exposure across all areas of the business. Hence, an understanding and a willingness to get involved in the entire web development and support process, including design, development, content uploading, deployment & maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities
• Building and designing frontend pages for WordPress & WooCommerce websites based upon existing templates, designs and/or from raw content.
• Designing and implementing strong user experience and conversion focused layouts and process flows
• Assisting to build ongoing strategies and plans to grow targeted organic and paid traffic while coordinating to ensure the work accomplished meets goals and forecasts set.
• Implementing all aspects of SEO for our clients to get results, inc; technical on-page, keyword research, website usability tuning
• Plan & Conduct link building activities where required (outreach & broken link building)
• Identify content creation opportunities and work with content writers to deliver.
• Track performance and conversions
• Monthly Reporting for all customers
• Autonomously managing your time to meet your deliverables on project work

About You
• 3+ years of SEO & Web development experience
• Experience in detecting & solving website issues such as 404 error, redirects, crawl & server errors, broken links, duplicate content, robot.txt, slow website speed, missing alt tags, title and meta
• Extensive WordPress knowledge and experience is mandatory. This is both at a technical level and page/product implementation level.
• On-page tuning skills in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Responsive Design
• You have strong organisational and time management skills as well as project management methodology.
• Strong and incomparable attention to detail
• A conceptual thinker – able to clearly articulate creative ideas & solutions
• Ability to learn quickly and play your part in a close-knit team
• Good written and verbal communications skills (English)

Desirable Skills (bonus … non mandatory)
• Previous experience using project management and communication tools (Jira, Trello, Slack, Zoom etc)
• WordPress maintenance and support troubleshooting skills
• Understanding to tools including SEMrush, Google Ads Manager, Screaming Frog, Search Console, Analytics etc
• Experience with Elementor and WP Bakery page builders and themes based upon this software
