JOB OVERVIEW

Our client has found himself receiving referrals and clients that are coaches/business owners who need help with their business practices. Only in the last year or so has our client started coaching business professionals on how to coach more effectively their clients in their practice of life/health/business as well as crafting their business plans.

Our client has two years of experience supervising social workers, so coaching comes naturally, coupled with a Doctor in Education leadership where he crafted business plans. These initial meetings/intro calls have been a success and clients have been jumping at the opportunity.

He is currently in need of a professional copywriter to help draft and create content for his new business. The first few materials he needs assistance with are five E-books on topics such as soft skills, conflict resolution, time management, resiliency, identifying pain points in business, etc. He is open to suggestions but topics will be aligned with business/life coaching and leadership. A background writing content for coaches, leadership development practices, or for relevant content is highly favored.

= Responsibilities =

- Deliver excellent, compelling copy for various mediums
- Write enjoyable, marketing-metric-driven long-form blogs/copies
- Ensure all projects are compliant with the client’s content brief specifics
- Conducting thorough research on topics assigned
- Source images and other content
- Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Work well with varying workstreams and has admirable editing tolerance of near-zero
- Takes ownership over the quality, timeliness, and integrity of the output – from concept to delivery

= Skills Required =

- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
- Experience writing content and materials for E-books/courses/programs preferred
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills
- Creativity
- Collaborative spirit
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism, or related field

*Start Date: ASAP
* Availability: 5-10 hours a week to start with the possibility of increased hours and ongoing work.
