Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities
Plan all aspects of the project
Estimate costs, builds and manage the budget
Develop schedule, with milestones
Keep inventory of tools, equipment and machinery
Allocate and manage resource logistics
Create status reports
Resolve conflicts
Identify, track and resolve risks
Oversee training and supervision of crew
Draft contracts with subcontractors, vendors and others
Obtain permits, licenses and meet code regulations
Meet deadlines
Hire crew and support staff
Delegate responsibilities
Update stakeholders regularly
Meet environment standards
Liaison with community
Monitor progress and performance
Collaborate with engineers, architects, et al.
Evaluate crew
Maintain health and safety standards


Education & Experience
Degree in architecture, building science, engineering, construction management or related field
Project management certification is recommended
Years of construction management experience managing budgets and schedules
Strong knowledge of construction-related materials and equipment
Organized
Team leader with experience leading a construction crew
Fluency in software programs related to construction management, including project management software
Prior experience managing a construction site
Plans ahead
Current with rules and regulations related to construction
Conflict resolution experience
Strong communication skills
